The Junior High School Swim Team Program provides students with an opportunity to develop swimming skills, improve physical fitness, and build confidence through team participation. The program promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth while encouraging a lifelong interest in swimming.

The Cordova School District supports the program through Student Activity funds shared with the high school swim team and supplemented by fundraising. School funding covers one junior high team trip per season for swimmers in 7th and 8th grades, along with team T-shirts and swim caps.

The Cordova Iceworms Swim Team supports 6th-grade swimmers’ participation in the Fall Harvest meet by providing coaching staff and chaperones as needed. Parents cover travel costs for sixth-grade swimmers.

A minimal $10 registration fee helps offset the fees charged by the registration website.
